I was perusing the blogsphere today when I came across a very aesthetically pleasing site- jubella.com . The site’s crafty design caught my eye and the posts, which focus on beautiful décor, lured me in. The editor of jubella.com definitely has an eye for beauty as all of her posts highlight incredibly lovely and intriguing décor. The images that she shares on her site are gorgeous and an inspiration to the artistic mind.
While on her site, I came across her post ‘Color Theory: Haiti.’ The images from her post, which I have also included below, are from Marie-Louise Fouchard’s and Roberto Stephenson’s book “Interieurs d’Haiti.” The striking pictures show a colorful and culturally artistic side of Haiti.
After Haiti’s recent earthquake, it is refreshing to see Haitian images that evoke happy-feelings rather than tears. Check out the images below to see beautiful Haitian décor. Enjoy!
The pink in the first room is so light, bright and relaxing; and the second room mixes pastels perfectly -- Gorgeous.
The turquoise is stunning. Perfectly juxtaposed against
eclectic furniture, art, and nick-nacks.
Earth-tones and neutral colors, very serene
