I was going to write about how gas prices are slowly creeping up without a slow creep up in my bi-weekly paycheck. I was all set to scream to the top of my lungs that $30 couldn't fill my tank and has NEVER been able to fill the tank of any car that I have ever owned.

But then I spoke to my peoples in the Bahamas and found out that their gas is $4.75/gal....yeah. Like, two gallons of gas could feed a family of four a whole meal* at McDonalds....So I guess I shouldn't complain about my measly $2.85/gal gas then.

I digress.

*I use the term 'meal' loosely. A 'meal' consists of food and I don't remember the last time that I saw actual food in a McDonalds...

Hello world! Sometime after the release of Badu's latest album (of which I still listen to daily), I abruptly disappeared. Sorry about that. I needed a much needed break from the internet so I fell under the radar. After some rest, the passing of my bornday, and a wonderful trip to the Bahamas I am back at it and ready to go! re.definition will continue with my spin on current events and other random goings-on.
