And Malik Zulu Shabazz did just as he needed to do...

Since the 2008 New Black Panther Party voter intimidation in Philly, and the racial epithets spewed by Samir Shabazz of the NBP at this year's Odune Day Festival, the NBP has been overly scrutinized and condemned in the media. I addressed this issue in a previous post advising that a spokesman/woman from the NBP step up and clear the air on behalf of the party. Well, on a recent Geraldo At Large, Brother Malik Zulu Shabazz did just that. (Click the link at the bottom of the post to see the two part video)
Intelligently poised and ready for battle, Brother Shabazz appeared on FOX News' Geraldo At Large prepared to defend the NBP. Rivera, who has had many run-ins with Brother Shabazz in the past, began the interview on edge, prepared to argue and prove that Shabazz is an anti-Semitic, inducer of racial violence.  In a very confrontational interview, Rivera attempted to place Brother Shabazz in the position of the adversary, continuously blaming Brother Shabazz for the personal statements and actions of others (who happen to be part of the NBP).
As calmly as possible, Brother Shabazz spoke with Rivera in an attempt to dispel the idea that the NBP wants to incite race war and death. Whose point of view took precedence? We are not too sure...

During a recent radio broadcast, Glenn Beck played a clip of Samir Shabazz of the NBPP yelling at festival attendees about the hypocrisy of a black man being in African garb donning a white woman on his arm as well as the need for black people to "kill cracker babies."
