So BET [supposedly] banned Ciara's Ride video? To sexual for ya' BET?
What makes BET think that all of a sudden they have to care about the impressionable youth that watch their network? I mean, it's only sex that may promote premarital sex and subsequent children, STDs, STIs, and rape. A little nakedness hip swaying, suggestive lyrics, and booty popping never hurt anyone before, now did it BET?
See, I feel like all this unnecessary female over-sexualization is getting out of hand (cue Beyonce and her wannabes). So yes, Ciara's video should not be played on BET or any other station during daytime hours. However, for BET to suddenly have a heart when it pertains to Ciara but not when it pertains to INSERT ANY MALE RAPPER'S NAME HERE is just not fair. Disgustingly sexualized females wiggle, shake, drop, and pop all up and through rap videos, yet as a woman performing her own song in her own video, Ciara cannot do the same? PULEEZE BET, go sit down somewhere. I can't stand you, I really can't.
I would say that BET is at the bottom of the proverbial barrel but, lucky for them, there is a thing called VH1 that has already taken that spot. But oh, you better believe, BET is sitting right there, right on top of VH1, helping to contribute the ultimate failure of the black community. Rrrrrr, you make me so sick I don't even know what else to say. (dropping the mic like Em on 8 Mile.)
