Mz.Jonezy was going to stay silent about the good Bishop but....

When the media went abuzz about the Bishop Eddie Long allegations, Mz.Jonezy remained mute. I mean, I blog about many things pertaining to the black and brown communities but for some reason, when Eddie Long became topic of conversation, I decided to zip my blogging lips. Even today, as I type this post, I will remain silent on the intricacies of the Bishop Eddie Long allegations.  No one but the Bishop and his boys knows the real truth of this situation. I don't know anything about the good Bishop's sex life and I'm willing to bet that you don't either. However, amid the whirlwind of allegations, insults, and media coverage about Bishop Long and his boys, I'd venture to believe that the following billboard was not (and I repeat , NOT) a good idea.
Bishop Eddie Long Billboard
The billboard reads "Love, Live, Lead Like Him" which I assume is supposed to be referring the good Bishop's Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Be this as it may, the only image on the billboard is that of Bishop Long and many people are finding this to be a very odd subliminal message to relay.
I am very interested to know why Bishop Long chose to have this billboard posted, especially at a time like this. The man is being accused of cheating on his wife with young boys, which would make him nothing more than an adulterous, homosexual pedophile.  While being a homosexual is more or less not such a big deal, being a pedophile is...especially since Bishop Long is a proposed man of God who has built his kingdom as one that frowns upon and rebukes those who perform the same acts of which he is being accused. (and, not to mention, having sex with minors is just wrong. Like, really, really wrong)
I believe that I must end this post here because I do not want to make the mistake of "passing judgment" on the good ole' Bishop. But before I go I must say this----Bishop, this is not looking good my friend...not at all....

How do you feel about the billboard? Leave me a message and let me know what you think!

All jokes aside, i think its an attempt to continue with normal life. The only problem with rushing to keep normal life makes you wonder, why won't they allow time for things to be shocking because that's life. Allow time for people o feel a certain way.
