I just heard that Wyclef has suddenly turned 40 years old…despite his birth year allegedly being 1972 and his true age allegedly being 38. Not that any of this matters but if you happen to know what's up with his age leave a comment below. I really would like some clarification.
Ok, so, Nelust Wyclef Jean is officially running for president of Haiti and I have to admit---I am a bit skeptical about his ability to efficiently run a nation.
George Bush's piss poor job as American Head-of-State for 8 years proves that it doesn't take much to be president…but then too, Bush did not enter the presidency of this nation after a horrific earthquake damaged a large percentage of American land. Wyclef is attempting to embark upon Haiti as its leader after an almost unbelievable destructive earthquake, which places in him in a very unrealistic position. If Wyclef were to win the seat of presidency, he will be expected to be Haiti's savior; and based upon Haiti's turbulent and impoverished past, he will likely not be able to fulfill the people's expectations.

In all honesty, there is no one that I would rather see as president of Haiti than Clef. In my opinion, he is the human representation of Haiti and has Haiti's best interests at heart. Yet, while I would love to see Clef as the leader of his nation, something is making me worry……perhaps it's the fact that he is so popular and internationally accepted that he is susceptible to infiltration. Or maybe it's the fact that he has absolutely no experience in politics and will have to produce results based solely on the mental capacity of those whom he appoints to his cabinet. Whatever the case may be, I am a little concerned about Wyclef becoming president.
I am sure that I am not the only one who is worried about Clef's new endeavor…or am I? Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
